Acute liver failure is a life-threatening condition that can rapidly lead to multi-organ dysfunction and ultimately death. Timely and appropriate treatment is essential for improving survival rates. Liver failure can be caused by various factors, including cirrhosis, drug-induced liver injury, liver tumors, and viral hepatitis. In some cases, liver transplantation offers a viable treatment option that can significantly improve long-term outcomes. Without intervention, the mortality rate remains extremely high.
