Diarrhea can also be linked to the use of laxative medications, pancreatic insufficiency, or increased gastrointestinal motility. The criteria for diagnosing advanced liver cancer typically involve major vascular invasion, extrahepatic metastasis, or severe liver failure, and these findings are usually confirmed through imaging studies.

It is important to note that symptoms alone are not sufficient for determining the stage of liver cancer. Rather than relying solely on clinical manifestations, accurate staging requires objective diagnostic tools such as ultrasound, CT scans, or MRI.
