Early Detection of Liver Cancer: Effective Screening Methods

Blood tests for AFP (Alpha-Fetoprotein) are among the most commonly used tools for liver cancer screening. For more detailed imaging, contrast-enhanced CT scans of the liver offer a more in-depth look and are particularly useful for confirming suspicious findings from initial tests.

Regular screening using these methods can significantly improve the chances of early diagnosis and successful treatment. Individuals with risk factors such as chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, or a family history of liver cancer should consider discussing a personalized screening plan with their healthcare provider.
