Individuals with compensated liver cirrhosis are generally encouraged to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, as their liver function remains within normal limits during this stage. These patients are considered to have compromised immune systems, making them more susceptible to severe illness and higher mortality rates if infected with the virus.
