A woman who typically has a resting heart rate of 80 BPM may see her baseline increase to around 110 BPM while pregnant. This increase is a normal response to the body's heightened demands during gestation and does not require medical intervention, as long as no other symptoms are present.

When Is a Heart Rate Outside the Normal Range Still Considered Healthy?

In essence, while the general guideline for a normal heart rate is between 60 and 100 BPM, individual variation plays a significant role. If a person feels well, experiences no symptoms such as dizziness, shortness of breath, or chest pain, and their heart rate remains consistent with their lifestyle and physical condition, it can still be considered normal. Understanding your own body and what's typical for you is key to interpreting heart rate data accurately.
