Class IV Antiarrhythmics – Calcium Channel Blockers

Non-dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers like Verapamil and Diltiazem are also used in managing palpitations. These drugs primarily act by slowing down conduction through the atrioventricular (AV) node, which helps regulate abnormal heartbeats. They are particularly useful in managing supraventricular premature beats.
