When managing chronic gastritis, it's important to be mindful of your diet. While there is no one-size-fits-all meal plan, experts recommend choosing foods that are mild and easy to digest. Spicy, acidic, or overly processed foods should be limited or avoided as they can further irritate the stomach lining.

One of the key dietary adjustments involves steering clear of certain beverages and seasonings. Avoiding carbonated drinks, alcohol, strong coffee, and excessive amounts of black tea is highly recommended. These substances can increase stomach acidity and worsen symptoms. Similarly, high-sodium seasonings like monosodium glutamate (MSG) and spices such as pepper should be used sparingly.

In addition to avoiding irritants, individuals with chronic gastritis should focus on incorporating a balanced variety of nutrient-rich foods.
