The QRS complexes — representing ventricular depolarization — typically maintain their normal morphology despite the irregular heart rhythm. This combination of irregular rhythm with normal QRS patterns helps differentiate AFib from other arrhythmias during ECG interpretation.

Understanding these electrical disturbances is crucial for proper diagnosis and management. Early detection through routine checkups or symptom evaluation allows healthcare providers to implement appropriate treatment strategies.
