Method 2: Estimating Ventricular Rate Over a 6-Second Interval

The second technique offers a quicker estimation of the ventricular rate. Begin by selecting a reference R wave on the ECG tracing and measure the distance corresponding to 6 seconds. Count the number of R waves that fall within this interval, excluding the initial R wave used as the starting point. Multiply the count by 10 to estimate the ventricular rate per minute.
